How it started
Tobias Quill ran his first gig above a pub with nine people in the audience — four of them staff. A decade later the club fills its Main Room four nights a week with tour-preview hours, work-in-progress nights and the occasional genuine superstar dropping in unannounced.
The formula never changed: a hot, loud room, comedians paid properly, and an audience that knows it is part of the show. No TV cameras, no heckler-shaming clips — just stand-up the way it is meant to be heard.
