A first-timer's guide to a comedy night
Doors, drinks, heckling rules and phone policy — everything for your first night at Loomsworth Yard.
Never been to a stand-up night? Here is everything you need to know before your first visit to Tobias Quill Comedy at Loomsworth Yard.
When should I arrive?
Doors open at 6 PM and the show starts at 7 PM sharp. Arrive early for the best seats and a drink — latecomers are seated in the interval and may become part of the show.
Is there a drink minimum?
No. The bar is open before the show and during the interval, and nobody will ever wave a two-drink rule at you.
What if I get picked on?
Our comedians talk to the crowd, but it's all affection. Say hello, answer honestly, and you'll have a story for Monday.
Can I take photos?
No phones during the act — the red light means put it away. There's a photo wall in the foyer for before and after.
